The chamomile water (hydrosol) is a by-product of the distillation process of the essential oil and has a calming, nurturing and soothing effect on body and mind. Apply it to the skin or spray it on your bed linnen for a good night's sleep. Or how about your meditation cushion for a relaxed meditation session.

Chamomile water has a mild, caring effect and is therefore ideal for red and sensitive skin. Use as a toner or place a clean cloth soaked in chamomile water on irritated, sensitive skin for care and hydration. You can also use chamomile water for tired eyes. Always test it on a small area of ​​skin to be sure, if you have very sensitive skin.

TIP: If you use water-soluble ingredients, such as plant hydrosols or Aloe Vera juice in a cream or spray, also look for a preservative, such as Cosgard. Cosgard, also known as Geogard® 221, is a preservative and protects your homemade product against all kinds of yeasts, molds and bacteria.
