Jojoba oil is not an actual oil, but more a kind of liquid wax and is therefore often used in combination with other carrier oils in different blends.
Jojoba oil is very similar to the sebum that our skin produces and is therefore an perfect skin conditioner. Jojoba oil prevents moisture loss from your skin and is therefore ideal for dry(er) skin. The jojoba oil moisturizes without clogging the pores.
This oil can also work well to get rid of pimples; due to the purifying effect of jojoba and because it is very similar to the skin's own sebum, the skin stops excessive sebum production. Furthermore, this great, moisturizing oil optimally soothens your skin and you can use it as a conditioner for your hair and scalp. Especially for dry hair ends, the jojoba oil is a great oil to use.
